Join the Advisory Board of SAFE BUS and
help advance safety in public bus networks
Do you want to contribute to advancing safety in public bus networks? Join the SAFE BUS Advisory Board!
Bus transport is an essential part of the EU public space and infrastructure and needs to remain safe and secure from the perspective of its users, its operators, and every member of the EU society. Due to their open nature and public character, public bus transport systems are considered a high-risk target that are vulnerable to various security risks, including terrorism.
The SAFE BUS Advisory Board will bring together several National Security Authorities and special forces throughout Europe to participate in knowledge exchange events and workshops and contribute to the outcomes and deliverables of the project.
The Advisory Board members will have:
1) The chance to join a pan-European network of public transport practitioners and security services to exchange knowledge on public transport security
2) The possibility to follow closely the developments of the project and get valuable information about the state of the art and new developments in bus transportation safety procedures and
implementations
3) The prospect to contribute to better solutions for the protection of public spaces and bus network during the planned meetings of the projects
4) Formal and informal networking opportunities during the events
Do you want further info on the Board's activities, and how to join? Check out the leaflet.
